  1. In the 1891 census Charles is living in Pamber Green with his new wife, Fanny & a further son, Charles born circa 1890. They are recorded next door to his elder brother James. Charles is recorded as a general labourer & Fanny as a dressmaker & tailoress. In 1891 Charles’s son from his first marriage George is living in Pamber as labourer & only person in house apart from a lodger.
